Not sure how to get going with your new hobby? You're in the right place! Together we'll make a pair of fingerless mitts, learning all the basics of knitting along the way: how to knit, purl, cast on and bind off as well as seaming and weaving in the ends of your finished project. All materials are provided and yours to keep including:
50g ball of wool
1 pair of 5mm needles
1 Tapestry needle and a few stitch markers
This class is 2 parts, the schedule is as follows:
Jan 23 - 6:30-9:00pm
Learn how to knit and purl to begin your very own fingerless mitt.
Jan 30 - 6:30-9:00pm
Learn how to bind off your first mitt and then we'll tackle casting on the second and seaming them up.
Please be aware that there will likely be a bit of "homework" in between the two sessions.
