Inspiring Yarns minis are hand-dyed locally in Northern Ireland by a local social enterprise — which means every single skein is unique. Same colourway, different skein, different day: you'll see subtle variations in depth and tone that make each mini a tiny original. Collect a few in the same palette and you have a ready-made gradient kit. Collect across the whole range and you have the makings of a spectacular striped project.
The 20g size is perfect for:
- Colourwork accents — a mini as a contrast colour for stranded or Fair Isle knitting adds a pop without committing to a full skein
- Contrast heels and toes — the classic sockaholic's trick; a mini for the heel flap and toe uses one colourway from your 50g or 100g skein without any waste
