Picture a mini, squishy crochet Christmas tree with a little garland looped round it. That's what you'll be making.
It's dark by teatime in Belfast, the rain is doing its thing, and a Wednesday evening of crochet, chat and yarn squish sounds about right to me. In this amigurumi class at my Belfast yarn shop we'll crochet a mini tree, stuff it until it's properly plump, and finish it off with a garland. Then it can sit on your mantelpiece, or hang from your Christmas tree.
Amigurumi is not for complete beginners, but as long as you can chain and double crochet, I can show you the rest. It'll be cosy and a bit silly, and you'll go home with something festive you made yourself.
Come and join me!
What you'll need: A 2.5mm or 3mm crochet hook, a stitch marker and a darning needle.
What's included: Yarn, stuffing and all other materials (and of course all the tea you can drink).
