Evenrose by Justyna Lorkowska is like a fairytale of delicate leafy lace and fluffy Garter. It will take you on a fabulous journey through knits and purls in a soothing rhythm in two magnificent fibres.
The shawl begins at the top center and is worked outwards to the border. There are two yarn-over increases in every row, creating a long banana-like shape. The shawl is worked in alternating sections of Garter and Leafy Lace. The Garter border is finished with cute picots.

Size
One size: approx. 225 cm/90” wide and 60 cm/24” long at center.
Gauge
22 sts and 40 rows = 10 cm/4” in Garter st, measured flat after wet blocking.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage, so I strongly recommend making a swatch and adjusting the needle sizes as necessary.

Isager Highland Wool blends slightly different shades together before the spinning process for a lovely subtle heathered effect. The yarn is soft but "toothy" enough to be a superb choice for colourwork. Generous meterage for a light fingering weight yarn.
