Embrace the artistry of knitting and join our 2-part workshop for a delightful journey into the world of stranded mitten knitting! In this class, you'll unravel the secrets behind creating warm and stylish mittens adorned with captivating colourwork.

Inspired by knitting traditions across Northern Europe, these mittens incorporate the Latvian braid technique with classic Nordic motifs and shaping. You'll learn how to work the braid and also how to follow a stranded mitten pattern, unlocking the mysteries of colour charts with increases and decreases to bring your creation to life.

This class is suitable for anyone that can already knit in the round. There are a few different motifs to choose from to create your mittens.

2 balls of DK weight wool are included (enough to make 2 pairs). Please bring along a set of 3.25 or 3.5mm needles in whichever format you prefer for working small circumference projects (ie. DPNs, short circular,  or long circular for magic loop) and a few stitch markers.
